Server check script
A small read-only shell check for the PHP command line environment. Run it only on a server you manage.
Copy the commands
printf '%s\n' '--- PHP version ---'
php -v
printf '%s\n' '--- Configuration files ---'
php --ini
printf '%s\n' '--- Loaded extensions ---'
php -m Paste the commands into your server shell. They do not change settings or create files. Review the output before sharing it: configuration paths and environment details may be private.
Read the result carefully
The shell and website can use different PHP versions or settings. To confirm the web request’s configuration, create a private phpinfo file, note only the fields you need, then remove it. Compare your app's PHP requirements before an installation or upgrade.
If the output points to a fault but the cause is unclear, see the error guide or request a server audit.
